Advertisement for Bids:

The Town of Port Barre will be accepting sealed bids until 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, for demolition and clean-up of the following properties: (1) 129 Josie Street; (2) 223 Beauxis Drive; and (3) 133 Josie Street, Port Barre, LA. Please contact the Port Barre Town Hall at 337-585-7646 to set a time and date to view the above described locations. All bids must be in a sealed envelope with “BID” written on it (one for each property location). Also, please place on the envelope which property is being bid on. The bid package must include a copy of the contractor's insurance certificate, proof of good standing with the State of Louisiana and, if the bid is over $7,500, you must provide a copy of your contractor's license from the State, as well. Bids can be dropped off at the Port Barre Town Hall located at 504 Saizan Avenue, Port Barre, LA, between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm.
