Animal Services

The Town of Port Barre Animal Services' department provides the some of following assistance to all residents within its corporate limits, and is dedicated to helping protect the health, safety and welfare of both people and animals in our community.

• Responding to stray animal complaints (dogs)
• Investigating dangerous animals
• Impoundments
• Adoptions
• Barking dog complaints
• Addressing wildlife and loose livestock (see ordinance)
• Carcass removal
• Ordinance enforcement
