St. Landry Parish Fire District No. 2 serves the The Town of Port Barre and surrounding area.  Fire Chief, Roy Hardy, and his staff of professional firefighters are here 24/7 to protect and enhance the quality of life for all citizens and visitors from the adverse effects of natural and man-made emergencies.
