Town of Port Barre Employment Opportunity


The Town of Port Barre is currently accepting applications and/or resumes to employ a full-time Parks and Recreation Director. Applicants must be 18 years or older, possess a valid driver’s license, have no criminal record and must pass a background check and drug screen. This position will require experience with athletics, a knowledge of sports, organizational, computer, and communication skills. Other responsibilities include management and maintenance of the RV Park and athletic properties. Benefits include flexible work hours, paid health insurance, uniforms, work vehicle, vacation and sick leave pay. Salary depending upon experience. Applications can be picked up at the Town Hall located at 504 Saizan Avenue, Port Barre, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8 am to 4 pm. Resumes are also accepted.
