The Town of Port Barre is accepting applications for a full-time Town Superintendent/Supervisor. Qualifications and/or requirements are as follows: must be 18 years of age or older, possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent and valid driver’s license, have good communication, organizational and people skills, some basic knowledge of or have computer experience, strong leadership and management of time, must be capable of assigning duties and following up on work orders, projects, etc., a common knowledge of plumbing and general maintenance, and be able to evaluate employees under his/her supervision. In this position, you will work closely with the Mayor addressing the needs of the town regarding the water, sewer, gas and street departments. Must be willing to obtain certifications (in areas required). Must be willing to provide references. Salary is depending on experience.
