The Port Barre Police Department mission is to maintain peace and harmony within our community.

Our mission consist of several goals.

First, to protect life and property at all means.

Second, to create an atmosphere of zero tolerance for illegal drug use and dealings.

Third, to make sure that out senior citizens needs are met and not forgotten.

Fourth, to open the lines of communication with our young people of the community.

Last, but not least, to restore trust and integrity within the Port Barre Police Department.

For it is the citizens trust in the Port Barre Police Department that helps us strive for excellence.
